Plan for this day is drive to the Honganvik waterfall take a hike along an abandoned road.
Planned trip for today
Today we took a hike along an abandoned road along the fjord. Then went back packed down the caravavan and then took one one trip back to the abandoned road before we drove back home.
Abandoned road
The road was shut down in 1982 when they opened the Honganvik tunnel and the Varstad Tunnel. So what you see in the images is result from being abandoned for almost 40 years.
