The majestic Ryganfoss is located in Årdal in Ryfylke on the mountain transition between Årdal and Songesand. Ryganfossen has an impressive waterfall with a drop of 56 meters.

Parking and start of trail is at Nes in Årdal, follow the marked tourist route about 400 m parallel to Storånå, but turn right immediately after the gate where the tourist road enters the "stairs". Then follow the marked path along the fence and eventually steep up towards Åse.
