Jonegarden, Sauda in Ryfylke, was owned by the same family from the 17th century until 1987. The farm is restored and is now part of a nature conservation and recreational area.
The buildings at Jonegården are being restored to their end of the 19th century condition. Many of the fixtures and fittings in the main house have been preserved. There is good walking in the area surrounding the farm, with varied flora and fauna. A nature trail takes you to Kvednafossen waterfall. Here, there is a corn drier, a mill, workshop and sawmill, all water-driven.
Jonegarden is open year-round. Free admittance.
