Posted by Blåfjell Mines were operated during the period of 1863 to 1876. The ore from the mine was shipped from Rekefjord. Railroad tracks were built between Blåfjell and Rekefjord. This is currently a pleasant walking and bicycle path. There is a beautiful trail from the bathing spot Linepollen inwards to Blåfjellet.
