Experience a journey in Rogaland during the Second World War
Designed as a journey through Rogaland's experiences during the Second World War, the museum presents an impressive collection of uniforms and objects placed in authentic environments.
Visitors have the opportunity to explore the story from beginning to end, and have the main focus on the themes that are relevant to the region. Some of these themes include the bombing of the destroyer Æger, the fighting in Dirdal, the resistance, the illegal press and the persecution of Jews. The exhibition gives a vivid picture of the events through a rich selection of objects, photographs, models and, not least, vehicles.
