In central Sweden, about 200 kilometers west of the capital Stockholm, you’ll find the small town of Örebro. The town is not one of the most well known in Sweden, but it’s known for one thing in particular – its beautiful 800-year-old castle. Örebro Castle is a beautiful old-fashioned castle, situated on a small islet in the middle of the river Svartån. Many historic events have taken place here, making it a special place in Swedish history. Why not take a stroll along the river, sit down for a cup of coffee at one of the cafés or have dinner overlooking the old town as the sun sets? By Per from Resrutt – The Travel Blog -
