Fun Park Fyn was once a small, but popular family oriented amusement park situated in western Funen, Denmark. For more than 20 years it was a place for families to enjoy good times together, and it's mediocre size and somewhat low-tech rides made it affordable for most to visit.
 
 It was closed back in 2006. From what I read, a personal bankrupt of the owner - not caused by the park itself, but rather bad investments in the financial sector and the financial crisis - was the reason. Fun Park Fyn was taken over by new owners in 2008, and it has been rumored that Fun Park Fyn will reopen in 2013 as "Hans Christian Andersen Park". But as to this date the park still sits untouched and rotting away
