The Botn German War Cemetery at Rognan in Nordland is located where the Botn prison camp was located during the Second World War. German soldiers who fell in Northern Norway during World War II are buried here. The burial site is located about one kilometer from the E6 northeast of Rognan next to the Botn Yugoslav War Cemetery .
After the liberation, it was decided that all German burials of soldiers in Northern Norway should be gathered at the Botn German War Cemetery, in an area that was formerly a prison camp for Yugoslav and Soviet prisoners of war. 4,730 German soldiers are buried here. The move was carried out in 1954.
