Other Info
Seems to be on a private land, will need to check.

German fortress, Søre Vignes, Finnøy. During World War II, Germans built a fortress at Søre Vignes. They requisitioned the farm, and built the fortress still visible today. You will find a large cannon site centrally placed on the farm. The land owners, Merete and Henrik Halleland, have worked with Ryfylke Livsgnist to make a historic play based on events on the farm. You will be witness to a play that is both serious and humorous, played out by local talent. A guided tour of the tunnels used for ammunition storage, is of course included. Also - inside the tunnels the Ryfylke Chef has prepared a meal based on local produce for you to enjoy.

Drove by here after we had been to a Tomato festival on the island. Is clearly visible from the road and has a nice view out to the fjord. We didn't walk down to it this time, maybe another time.
