Riga Castle was built in 1330 and located on the bank of River Daugava, due to many wars, the castle needed to be renovated and reconstructed which also resulted in its appearance and size changes throughout the history. Today, Riga Castle is the house of the Latvia president, there are also many museums that tourist can visit any time of the year. What I love about this castle is how simple it looks but it carries history and survived many wars. It is also located in the Old Town of Riga which means that it is very easy to visit.
