From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - https://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haltdalen_stavkirke Haltdalen Stave Church is a stave church from 1170 , now at Sverresborg , Trøndelag Folk Museum , in Trondheim . The church exhibited at the museum is a construction of two churches, from Haltdalen and Ålen . With the assembly it is sometimes referred to as "Holtålen stave church". The west wall and portal are from Ålen Stave Church. This is the only stave church of the East Scandinavian single-name type preserved.
