The church was first mentioned in 1347 , but is often dated to ca. 1200. It was originally demolished in 1747 , but rebuilt in the 1950s . The restored church does not stand on its original site, but was rebuilt on a new site. The church is owned by the parish and is used for church activities a few times a year.
