Third part of our castle adventure

Plan for this trip

Today we plan on visiting 3 castles, Drum, Crathes & Dunnottar. Will split them up to 3 sections. This one is for the last part of this day. Will be going to Dunnottar Castle, then Stonehaven to eat. Will be a couple stops on the way back to the hotelk to visit some places where i used to live.

Dunnottar Castle

On our way up to the castle.

Nice walking area around the castle with several viewing points. Also has access to Stonehaven beach. Where you can take a walk if weather permits.

Self guided tour here, we got tickets for that and wandered around.

At Dunnottar Castle

Stonehaven

Ate at the The Bay a nationally known Fish and Chips place, which has won several awards, was very good. Also had a haggis pudding there since my wife had never tried that. After we finished we had to try the neighbouring icecream store.

Newtonhill

Drove down to Newtonhill where i onceloived a long time ago. These are some pictures from their beach/harbour.

After our tour of the area we went back to the hotel and relaxed.
