Day 4 : Today we finally got our new tires—yay!

First thing after taking the dogs out, I headed over to the workshop to get the order sorted and get an estimate. We decided it was best to replace both rear tires, and they told us everything should be ready by 2:00 PM. To pass the time, we hopped on the bus to a nearby town to pick up a few accessories. By the time we got back and grabbed a quick lunch at the gas station, the mechanics were finished. I noticed one of the new tires looked a bit low on air, but they assured us it was fine. So, we paid up and finally resumed our journey north.

Our first stop was Tønsberg to meet up with my uncle. We hung out in the historic old town area and had a great chat. Afterward, we drove over to Borre Family Camping to set up for the night.

Evening Update: Settling in at Borre/Midgard

We took the dogs out for a walk to explore the famous Iron Age burial mounds nearby and even stumbled upon an NRK film crew shooting a series there! When we got back to the RV, though, I noticed the tire looked even lower than before. Since it was already late, we couldn’t start pumping it up, so we just headed inside and went to bed, hoping for the best.
