A Snowy Walk with Moon

The snow stopped falling just in time for my nightly walk with Moon. The neighborhood was completely still, covered in a fresh, white coat—the perfect setting to break out the tripod.

The Gear

I used my Canon R7 with the RF 28mm f/2.8 lens. To capture the crisp details of the snow under the night lights, I set everything up on my Sirui tripod.

The Shots

I wanted a deep focus so every texture in the snow would stand out, so I shot between and . Using long exposures allowed me to keep my ISO low, resulting in really clean, sharp images of the frozen landscape.

Moon was the perfect companion for the quiet night, even if I was moving a bit slower than usual to get the tripod level!

Enjoy the photos from our walk below.

That’s all for this day ;)
